(Side note: I've gotten used to him being able to drive. Now I'm ready for him to be allowed to drive after 9:00 PM. That will cut back on my chauffeur duties immensely.)
Anyway, I skipped lunch today and went to the Y, determined to get at least some kind of WOD done. This was actually the WOD posted for yesterday. Well, half of it is, anyway.
Buy-in: 2 x 500m row (easy/medium pulling) - 2:41/2:14
2 rds of CFWU
WOD: Clean & Jerk 1-1-1-1-1
- Warmup sets 5 @ 45#, 5 @ 55#
- 1 @ 65#
- 1 @ 75#
- 1 @ 85#
- 1 @ 90#
- 1 @ 95#
- Warmup sets 5 @ 10#, 5 @ 15#
- 4 @ 20#
- 3 @ 22.5#
- 3 @ 25#
- 3 @ 25#
- 8 @ no weight
I did enjoy the sidelong glances being sent my way during the weighted pullups. Guess I looked pretty funny with a dumbbell stuck inside the belt around my waist. Especially because the belt came from the weight-assisted pullup machine.
Cash-out: 2 rounds of 10 Russian swings and 10 hanging leg lifts.

95# for a C&J?! Holy Cow Jenn! That's a lot of weight. or ... at least it seems like a lot to me ;-) Color me impressed - whether you're going to call them PR's or not :)
So when will #1 Son get to start driving on his own after 9pm?
LOL, I was kinda surprised myself. I keep wondering if I'm not doing the C&J right.
He has a 6-month provisional license - no driving between 9 PM and 5 AM, no cell phone, no more than 1 passenger under the age of 21. Assuming no violations, he gets his full license in April.
W.O.W. Between your C&J numbers and your weighted pull-ups (three reps at 25#?!?) you're leaving me in the dust, girl. Way to go!!!
The sideways glances were probably of the "Wow, strong woman!" variety! If not, they ought to be impressed and are clearly just stupid (like the guy that tried to get Melissa B's attention while she was doing kb windmills and had headphones on)!
